My entry to :iconwoodland-mel:'s contest [link] !

In case you still haven't finished Skyward Sword - the pic and the description below could be counted as spoilers.

So. I like to think that after Fi fell asleep within the Master Sword, the only one who's still able to see her is Zelda, being the Goddess herself. Every now and then she comes to see Fi, plants a kiss on her forehead and whispers "Sleep well, my child."

Haha, I worked for hours straight on this and had already colored the background berore I noticed the door/gate -thingy wasn't vertical. Oops. I don't own the game, so all I had was a scruffy skecth of the temple scenery.

This gives me a lot of feels. It's not one of the big epic scenes but a calm very intimate one and it works perfectly. respect for such good use of watercolor. I love those little things like the plants growing on the wall or how the trees of the forest vanish in the background. Also great is the use of only a little bit of lineart accentuating the focal point.
A little thing I just noticed is the different colors of the stones in the wall which I like a lot, it's subtle but adds to the picture.

not alot of people liked Fi and i'm one of the few that really didn't have a problem with her. At the end of the game I cried when she "slept". This brings back so many great memories. Thank you for uploading this. (now excuse me while i go turn on my wii and start a new file)
